The lab is available to any student who is currently enrolled in a computer science course and who has paid the lab fee.
Spring 2018 Lab Hours
The lab opens on the first day of class at the beginning of the semester and follows this schedule:
| Monday - Friday | 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. |
| Saturday | 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. |
Lab Closed Between Semesters
The lab closes at the last day of finals each semester, and on any day that UAF cancels scheduled classes.
Lab Closed on Thanksgiving Weekend
The lab will also close for the weekend adjacent to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
What is a CS Lab Consultant?
We hire students as lab consultants who have completed CS201 or higher with a satisfactory grade. Consultants ensure authorized lab users follow the rules of the lab and provide a limited amount of help to other students. Consultants should only point students to a solution to their questions, not provide solutions.
