Quizzes

Quizzes are administered using the Blackboard server for CS 331. To take a quiz, you must login using your Blackboard ID, which is now the same as your MyUA portal username. Blackboard maintains its own password file which is not yet connected to MyUA, so for most people the Blackboard password will not be the same as your MyUA password. If you can't login to Blackboard, please contact the instructor for help.

Quizzes are worth 10 points and you have 60 minutes to take each one. After answering all the questions, click on the submit button at the bottom of the quiz. You are only allowed to submit one set of answers. After taking the quiz, complete the online evaluation survey for the group presentation only if you are NOT a member of the group. Each quiz will be available for only a limited time, so it is important to try out your Blackboard login immediately to ensure there are no access problems.

After all students have taken the quiz it will be graded and switched to review mode so you can check your results for individual questions using the "Check Grade" option under "Student Tools." Thus, it is to everyone's advantage to complete the quizzes as soon as they are available.

The current schedule for quizzes is listed below:

• Quiz #1: Object-Oriented Programming. Monday, April 21.
• Quiz #2: Functional/Logic Programming. Monday, April 28.
• Quiz #3: Web/Internet Programming, Monday, May 5.
