Practice Final Exam
The Final Exam is in two parts,
RECENT covering sections
8.5, 8.6, 8.7, and 8.8,
and COMPREHENSIVE covering
all of the semester.
TO PRACTICE FOR THE RECENT PART:
From text (Thomas' Calculus, 10th ed.):
§8.5: # 3, 9, 15, 29, 45
§8.6: # 5, 15, 41
§8.7: # 3, 10, 19, 29
§8.8: # 7, 21, 33
(As a sample exam, these problems together are too many. But half
of the above is about right.)
TO PRACTICE FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE
PART:
Read through old quizzes and exams and understand how to do those problems
correctly. I will build the COMPREHENSIVE part of the final based on
exactly those old problems (with variations of numbers and functions, but
no new types of problems).
Office hours (in Chapman 301C) online.
