Mitchell Roth
Mitchell Roth is Professor of Computer Science at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. His research interests are in the areas of computer graphics and simulation and he has participated in the development of a variety of computer systems for scientific applications including spacecraft navigation software, programming languages for hypercube multiprocessors and realtime data acquisition software for a precision GPS receiver. Roth received a BS degree in Mathematics and an MS degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois.
Richard Guritz
Richard Guritz is the Manager of the Science Technology and Education Program (STEP) of the Alaska Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Facility at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He has been a member of the Geophysical Institute staff since 1979 and has been heavily involved in the development of concepts and technologies for the reception, processing, visualization, and management of SAR data for polar research since 1990.
