Lecture Schedule
The following are the computerized lectures for CS103. The lectures are created in PowerPoint, so you will need Internet Explorer to view them online or some PowerPoint viewer to view them from your own computer(right click and save target as to save to your computer). If you do not have PowerPoint on your computer you can download a free PowerPoint Viewer program to view the files on a windows machine. Go to this Microsoft website to download the program http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2000/Ppview97.aspx -There are some files in the Handouts section that are used as examples in this lecture. Chapter 9 There are some example programs that I have made that you are welcome to copy for any File I/O operations that you want to do. The code and some examples data files are located here. -There is a nice recursive function example created by Beth Mercer(another CS103 student) last semester that helps to show visually what happens in a recursive function. You should check it out. It's in the Help section. -There is another student written file for opening and closing multiple windows. This one is written by Lawrence Murakami and is also located in the Help section. Chapter 15 - We probably won't get to chapter 15, and it definitely won't be on the test, but you can check it out by yourself if you are interested in drawing or fonts. If you are interested in Fonts, you might want to check out the FontsInstalled.java program that I created in the Help section. |
