Exams:
There will be a take-home mid-term exam due Thursday March 4 at 5pm and an open-book
in-class final exam on Tuesday May 11 from 1:00-3:00pm. Each exam is worth
20% of your final grade.
Homework:
There will be two homework assignments during the semester. Each homework is worth
5% of your final grade.
Project:
Each student must complete a project worth 50% of his/her final grade.
405 students (in groups of 2 or 3) will build on the results from the Blondie24 book.
605 students must propose (either solo or as a 2-person team) using a game other
than checkers (e.g. go, backgammon, chess, reversi/othello, ...).
Grading Policy:
Final grades will be assigned based on the following percentage intervals:
A+ [95%,100%], A [90%,95%), A- [85%,90%),
B+ [80%,85%), B [75%,80%), B- [70%,75%),
C+ [65%,70%), C [60%,65%), C- [55%,60%),
