"Hephestus 2k" Linux Distribution
  By Orion Lawlor, olawlor@acm.org, 2006/03/10

This is a stripped-down Slackware 4.0-based distribution.

I started with "basic_linux", version 3,
	http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/baslinux/

And then added the packages from slackware 4.0:
	http://mirrors.usc.edu/pub/linux/distributions/slackware/slackware-4.0/slakware/
and kernels from slackware 7.1 (Linux 2.2.16).

Installed software:
	- Linux 2.2.16
	- gcc & g++ 2.91
	- perl 5.005_03
	- bash 1.14.7
	- glibc 5
	- Full network support, on by default
	- apache, SSH server "dropbear", NFS, telnet, ftp, SAMBA
	- Xvesa (run "startx")

Boot disk is /dev/hda
	DOS boot: /dev/hda1, cylinders 1-47
	Linux /: /dev/hda2, cylinders 48-977
	Geometry: 10 heads, 17 sectors, 977 cylinders.

-------------- Running ----------------
qemu disk.img
  or
vmplayer image.vmx

From inside the emulated machine:

Login as: "root"; password: "xxxx"
Login as: "user"; password: "h2kbeme" (Hephestus 2K is I.)

Shutting down: shutdown -h now
  (Important to avoid disk corruption!)
