CS 493 Presentation Outlines

Fall 2003

A rule of thumb is that each 30 minutes of presentation will require about 5 good reference sources. However, you will need to review a larger number initially in order to decide which references are the most relevant and useful for your project.

Individual outlines will include some or all of the topics shown below:

I. Introduction

A. Background
B. Definitions
C. Objectives

II. Main Subject

A. Theory
B. Applications
C. Results

III. Conclusions

A. Summary
B. Future Directions
C. References

Each person should prepare an outline individually, then meet with the entire group in class to coordinate the topics in a logical order of presentation. The group should then prepare a complete outline showing who is doing what during the presentation and submit it to the instructor.
