My doctoral research concentrated on the cohomology ring of the complement of an arrangement. In De Rham Cohomology of Logarithmic Forms on Arrangements of Hyperplanes S. Yuzvinsky and I discuss the relation between the graded ring of logarithmic de Rham complex of differential forms (those with poles of degree at most one along the arrangement) to that of the algebraic de Rham complex.
